Alice is a qualified Alexander Technique teacher. Alexander Technique is used in many music colleges to release tension. It can aid posture and performance and improve breathing and tone. It can also prevent and alleviate injuries and is therefore an ideal complement to music teaching. Flute and Saxophone Lessons in Liverpool and locally in Cheshire
Alice is an experienced musician and teacher of the flute and saxophone who provides professional, friendly and fun lessons in a relaxed environment to all abilities and ages, adults and children. Beginners are very welcome!
She teaches flute and saxophone at The Old Police Station Community Centre on Lark Lane, Liverpool L17 8UU. Lessons are also available in the Cheshire area in Crowton - near to Frodsham, Weaverham and Northwich and Alice is happy to travel locally for lessons within this area including Norley, Delamere, Helsby, Davenham and Cuddington
Flute and Saxophone Lessons are one-to-one and are tailored to the individual person. Alice teaches all styles of music including classical, jazz, blues, improvisation and music theory. You can work towards exams or play just for fun. All that is needed is enthusiasm and a love of music.
30 minutes: £12
45 minutes: £16
1 hour: £20
(20 minutes is also available for young children at £6)
Over 10 years teaching experience.
HND in music at Liverpool College.
CHE in jazz at Leeds College of music.
Worked as performing musician in Leeds and Liverpool. Played as flautist and saxophonist with many bands including blues, jazz, African, Latin and commercial. Also played in orchestras and classical ensembles.
Recorded and performed with singer-songwriters in venues and festivals in the North West.
